BRAIN POWER BINS
In an effort to provide every child with learning materials that are appropriate to his/her academic needs, our parent group created “Brain Power Bins.” Brain Power materials are comprised of specially selected problems, puzzles and other ‘mind teasers’ gathered from a variety of resources. These bins are available at every South Kitsap elementary school for teachers to use for enrichment. The worksheets are designed to challenge a child’s verbal, mathematical and logical thinking skills, and perhaps introduce him/her to a new way of problem solving. The goal of Brain Power materials is to provide meaningful activities for those students who finish required work in advance of their classmates. * Ask your student's teacher about these!
